Experiencing Life at 100% by Jon Shore

When reading this article, do your best to feel beneath and between the words. Do your best to experience what is being expressed rather than trying to understand it intellectually.

The Observed, Observing, and the Observer – Experiencing the True Self

Most people move through life unaware of the incredible skills, creativity, energy, support, love, ecstasy, and wisdom available to them. Most people spend a lifetime vainly searching for understanding, fulfillment, peace, acceptance, freedom, love, and a sense of belonging yet only experience fleeting glimpses of these. They exist as if in a long dream that they believe is absolutely real but without any understanding of the true nature of reality and their real identity. They exist without recognizing the phenomenal and ecstatic nature of creation that is constantly on going every instant.

Functioning as a unique, separate human being with a mind, life, history, personality, and possessions of your own is like living and experiencing life with only 10% of the sensory and intelligence capacity available. It is to stumble or to be unconsciously pushed through life constantly bumping into things, tripping, falling causing harm and getting lost yet believing that you are in control. It is like being in a house of mirrors and never really knowing what is real or unreal.

Experiencing life as Infinite Consciousness is to experience life fully and to function at 100% capacity. It is to experience life as a constant flow of perfection and synchronicity with understanding, wisdom, strength, clarity, and creativity. But the experience is never yours. You are the experiencing, a viewpoint. You are not the observer but the observing. You are not the one who is conscious, but Consciousness ItSelf.

The Observer is the One Infinite Mind creating and being all. The Observer is observing Its own Creation for Its’ own experiences and purposes. The Infinite and Omniscient Observer experiences Its’ creation through trillions of unique viewpoints. The unique identity you have considered me is just one of those almost infinite viewpoints. But you are not, in fact, the individual viewpoint. You are Infinite Consciousness, Infinite Awareness. The Consciousness of the Observer. You are not separate or unique at all. You have no real possessions and neither life nor consciousness is yours.

When you awaken to this, you experience the True Self, that which you are, have always been and will always be.

The True Self, Infinite Consciousness, is inseparably one with all Creation. It is experiencing the entirety of all Creation through all viewpoints.

To experience this True Self, we must let go of everything including the me; surrender, dissolve into the Infinite Sea of Consciousness and be nothing. When we dissolve into Creation, we are the Infinite Sea of Consciousness. We are not a drop in the sea, not a particle in the quantum field, not a soul in the infinite universe, not a spark of the divine, not a piece of the Creator, nor a child of God. We are not separate in any way. There is only the One Infinite, Omniscient Mind exploring and experiencing ItSelf.

The paradox is that we cannot understand this until we first experience it. We must surrender and dissolve the me first. Experience and understanding follow. It cannot be otherwise.

Understanding always follows experience. But the understanding will never be yours. You are not the one who understands or gains wisdom.

The Infinite Bliss, Wisdom, Compassion, Ecstasy, Strength, Creativity, Peace, and Energy are never yours. They are not attributes that you acquire through effort, practice, or conscious intent. They are integral attributes of the Infinite Consciousness, the True Self, that you already are right this instant.

Infinite, Immortal Consciousness, Awareness, experiences every minute aspect of creation. It misses nothing. It experiences 100% of Life. This is what you are. The me may be distracted by any of a million distractions in life, but the True Self that you are, is ever present and never distracted.

To experience the One who is never distracted, who is unaffected by events, reactions, emotions, beliefs, judgments, and desires, we must let go of the false identity, the me, and dissolve into the True Self as if nothing else matters. As if nothing else is more important.

To the ‘me’, the ego, the price feels extremely high and impossible to achieve. The risk feels too great.

But I tell you from experience, the rewards are unimaginable to the ‘me’ and they are beyond measure. But they can only be experienced after taking that ‘risk’.

As always, this is not an intellectual, theoretical, or philosophical writing. It is written from direct experience and expressed in words as best I can. Remember, true understanding follows experience. It is never otherwise.
